Thread: 1999 TD5 oil leak

The faceof the oil cooler/ heater has oil coming out of at quite a fast rate. It has been off several times, refaced, as it was warped . THe only think of doing now is forking out $800.00 for a new one. Has someone a fix for this problem.

Hi Tony, if it has been faced already then no, a new one is required, new Orings and steel gasket also of course. Hunt around for a price but be warned, genuine is prefferred as there is inferior rubbish around. If it blows into the cooling system then it will cost you aplenty
