    TD5 lift kit

I've just got a td5 and am looking to put a 2 inch lift so I can get some 265/70/16's. It's mainly for sand and moderate off road work (nothing extreme). I've heard iron man do a reasonable kit but wanted some opinions of them or something else that's not too expensive but not cheap and nasty. Any opinions?

    Cheers

Suspension Stuff have kits. I have no complaints about what was supplied to me and know of several others with their kits.

Only thing is you will need spacers to offset the front cross member so the front drive shaft clears it at full articulation. Those spacers are not supplied or at least did not use to be.

I have fitted Dobinson Coils and Bilstein Shocks sourced through Suspension Stuff.

Comes in at around twice the price of the Ironman Kit but has been faultless with great on road handling and everything from low speed to high speed offroad.

I had the iron man kit in my old d2 v8, front and rear had foam cell shocks and constant load springs. Whilst it took a pounding it was very harsh and the shocks I was supplied were not +2" so there was no extra travel. Paint quality on the shocks was very ordinary as well and started rusting up in no time.

Thanks for that guys- does anyone know about tough dog or Rancho kits? About $1200 give or take but again- wanted to hear from someone's experience...

Say what you may about the terrafirma parts.but I'm running the terrafirma D2+ 3" shocks and springs, extended brake lines, and ABS lines and les Richmond cross member spacers all up just over 1100$ to my door. Haven't faulted it yet and had them in for around a year. Everyone has there own opinion and it all comes down to how much you spend and what you want to do with the car
