    Cheers!
    Are you sure about this?
    I drive a EU3 dt5 disco with a stage 1 Td5 Alive.
I am very pleased with the performance(don't want extra grunt),the diesel quallity here in Greece sucks(it should be named "smoke generator fuel"!!)
I was considering an intercooler upgrade but from what i've read, this mod by itself will increase turbo lag,so you must raise the boost and then i don't know if the remap i run is suitable and if i have to buy a booster box..
I like the idea of a bigger intercooler to keep the incoming air cooler but don't want to overstress the engine with extra boost etc.
The question is...do i fit a bigger intercooler(just to be on the safe side) and readjust the boost to the "nomimal" limit or i have to go from the beggining - new remap, booster box, boost over 19 psi?

Yes, I'm aware of that....I figured fitting a D2a I/c wouldn't do any harm and for $100 dollars I get very small increase in performance so all in I'm very happy...I should probably have a play about the with wastegate now as per Fluids instructions posted previously on this forum.

Sure will make a difference - we have extensively modified my mates Defender over time with remap, exhaust etc, etc and the last thing was a larger cooler. We both noticed the performance increase immediately and his EGT gauge shows far lower temps driving the same road pulling his trailer. I've monitored all engine parameters via Nanocom and can confirm. A larger cooler - with remap, EGR mod, exhaust mods and silicon hoses WILL increase the performance and put a smile on your dial :-))
