    Question TD5 turbo hoses?

No doubt this has been covered a zillion times, but ... I need to replace the rubber hoses on the Series II TD5. Suggestions, please. SWMBO got held up today - "it went 'pop' and would not pull". Hose from the turbo had let go. The hose from the intercooler is like a jelly, so time to replace. P.S. SWMBO lifted the bonnet and reported that a hose had come off

    Silicone

Do you want a recommendation on whether to go original (oem) / aftermarket, silicone, suppliers, where to get one in a hurry?

Silicone seems to be the go for replacement - lots of choice on ebay, lr parts suppliers, td5alive etc. Huge price difference between UK and Australian suppliers - but if you need it in a hurry.....

Replace the turbo hoses with silicone hoses, I don't know the suppliers in your area, but have a good look on threads in the forum, you'll get the idea, Bob
