    Tyre size

    Hi All, what would the biggest tyre size that could be fitted to my series 2 disco, I have currently 235/70/16. what would the widest that I could fit without scubbing on guards suspension etc, also if I fitted a 2" lift would it affect my ACE.

    A timely question, was thinking of asking the same.
    At the moment I am running Coopers in 255 70 R16 without any problems. Also have two inch lift on 5 seater TD5.
    I am looking at going up to 265 75 R16 and wondering if these are suitable for D2.

    Ditto. 7 seats no ace, td5. 2 inch lift and running 235/75/16 till these wear out.

    Now running 3" lift still rubbing on full lock

    I run 235/85 16's (same as a deefer) and find them brilliant. They don't rub anyware and are the same width as standard so you don't have to adjust anything. They are available everywhere too. Also I run a truespeed unit to fix the speedo. Skinny's are way better that fats!

    Do you have a lift or is it standard height?
