Thread: Advice TD5 Auto with Avan Eurostar 594 or 608

I have a Eurostar 5.8 and we towed it all round Australia last year no problems at all.

Having an auto i generally tow in 3rd using cruise control sitting at around 85 to 90kph fuel economy for the trip was just over 13 litres per 100km.

The TD5 is standard save for LPG injection and a reduced turning circle which restricts the tyres I can run, now running Bridgestones 694's

Thanks for this and I did end up purchasing an 08 Avan Jack HT and on 694's as well. I think what sold me was the lower overall weight when compared with the Jayco's so at all up 2T I'm comfortable in knowing it will be just fine. Regards
