Cruise stopped working after new ECU fitted

My cruise control stopped working after I fitted a new engine ECU and loom. I don't know if I knocked something in fitting the ECU loom.

Are D2s different in the workings of the previous D1 Cruises.
ie they are electronically controlled by the ECM,
D1s had air valves under the foot pedals that opened to release the hose vaccums and disengage the cruise control.
do D2s have these also. I couldn't see any or are they controlled electronically.
I went through programming with both hawkeye and nonacom evo and set vehicle features like electric seats, window cut outs times etc etc. But there was nothing to select vehicle is fitted with cruise control.

I'd say you have fitted a Defender ECU.

I'll back redback with a slight variation..

you've fitted an ECU thats in defender configuration, hooking it up to the right interrogator will let you tell it its a disco unit.

    Deefer- disco can cause problems

    disco-deefer usually goes easy.

If the ecu is the same as was discussed in the thread about INWC's ECU woes the ecu in question is a NNN100470 programmed for a MY02 V8 auto Disco.

Not too many Auto V8 Defers about I'd imagine....

Offtrack is correct its that ecu, so definitely not a Deefer one, it came out of a Disco2 being wrecked by a noble and trusted forum member.
