Rather than start at the worst case end of the equation, start with the easy stuff first .... is it using / loosing coolant ?

If it's gurgling in the heater matrix, you'll hear it from both sides.

Are you sure it's not the climate control fan up under the rhs of the dash. Roughly up above where the fuse box is above your right knee when you're in the drivers seat.

Are you a spanner man ... or do you take your car to a mechanic ? If you're a spanner man, invest in a Nanocom, buy a copy of Rave (the "shop" link at the top of every page).

If the problem doesn't exist when cruise is engaged, it's quite possibly the TPS, but the only way to confirm this is to check it out using diagnostic equipment (Nanocom).

    Cheers

    Yes to losing/using fluids.
Any chance this could be the noise?
small puddles behind passenger side front wheel and infront of p side rear wheel.
Only seems to be on the right side.
Surely a possible pre-emptive or early gasket replace minimizes the risk of the head itself warping, or damage to the cylinder heads?
And not really spanner man. I'm not mechanically challenged, but not exactly gifted either

Puddles, at least the fwd one could be A/c drain. These (both) should be relocated ASAP to avoid their other ongoing issues. The front D/C joint and the XYZ switch which both get dripped on.

Had a look under it. It's dripping directly from a cable that runs just under the plastic strip at the bottom of the doors.
