Thread: What do you think of this D2?

Well I didn't buy it!
Thanks everybody for your input.
I was planning on driving down there this Friday, but obviously it wasn't meant to be. I can save a bit more and increase my budget limit while looking for another Disco.
I'm starting to understand the differences between the LR models and what to look for e.g. the front UJs, airbags etc.

Actually I'm pretty sure there is a thread about what to look for when buying a D2 somewhere. I think it may be a sticky. I will have a look.

This car looks suss. Very cheap but probably for a good reason. Maybe someone imported it themselves.

Yeah, I agree. I have a MY03 HSE and the knob is different to the one in the ad. Despite it being a D2a and all, it might have a D2 pre CDL transfer case or at the very least, gear knob fitted.

All academic now though.
