    mobile mechanic

    Gday
    Does anyone now of a good or experienced mobile mechanic for landrovers in or around the area of Pakenham. Someone who is good at fault finding and has a nanocom and experience on a auto 1999 td5 s2. Not asking for much am l ??? sorry can not be driven...

    symptoms.

    with enough fault description the td5 can be diagnosed without electronics.

    Tried different things already had a play with xyz switch fiddled with wires all shes doing is cranking and thats it ,with m+s flashing ,new fuel pump , primed and primed ,new batteries ,and thats all from over heating about a month ago after a split pipe ,she hasn't turned over since,hadnt had real time to look at her until now ...

    when you are priming and crank the engine is you foot on the accelerator ?

    Silly question but it got me !!! (not reading the manual properly )

    ok its cranking so thats the XYZ switch, the batteries, the immobiliser, the ignition, starter+ solenoid ruled out. Excelent halfway there.

    have you checked the connections on the crank angle sensor, security of the injector harness plug, and reset the inertia switch?

    What the.
    The switch is a rubber topped button on the LHS firewall. Just push (down) to reset. It cuts off fuel supply??? in case of a rollover.
