With out seeing it I'd sugest the centre bolt has come loose.
There is a rubber that can lossen in the pulley so it would need a closer look.

There is no key-way on the crank and in some cases the crank does get damaged.
Mine has done this and while it's spun on the crack the damage was minimal.
In some cases the crank needs changing.
Gueesing close to $900 mark for pulley, seal and bolt plus fitting.
Check all the other pulies while the belt is off.

, a little scoring on shaft but ok. All re-assembled with new bolt and locktite, torqued up and now playing nicely.
