Hi,
While trawling the car adds for a suitable D2 I was wondering if it was possible to tell is a Disco has ACE fitted from the photos people post of the engine bay?
Some photos show two filler caps on the plastic reservoir bottle located on the passenger side and some show the same reservoir bottle with only one filler cap. Am I right in assuming that the reservoir bottle with two filler caps indicates ACE?

I am doing the same, I have found that all D2 HSE's have ACE and most SE's
but the others are luck of the draw.

I've also found that some D2a have it and some do not.
Some owners think they have it because it is in the hand book.

This is what you see under the front wheel ach. Mine leaks at both ends but has taken 380,000 km to do so. Will be fixing this shortly. Cheers Matt

To those looking for these trucks - you'll find that all *real* SE's have ACE. I've noticed there are many, many SE's that aren't (an SE). They're often one of the really late model 'Classics'.
I'm a bit ticked about it because it appears that the car valuers (Glasses, Redbook) take their values from the system (say, carsales) and fake SE's are lowering the value of my truck
Special order vehicles aside, a real SE has electric leather seats, 11-spkr hi-line sound, ACE, SLS, 7 seats and an auto gbox.
