I bypassed mine 6 months ago after finding it overboosting too with no issues, dont know if I ever bother refitting one...
Had surging under hard acceleration, found it was the boost modulator. I have bypassed it and everything seems ok.
Is there any reason I can't leave it like this?
What is the difference that the defender TD5 doesn't have one?
Thanks
Dylan

can someone be kind and make a nice description of how to do a bypass on a disco this can be a good way to control if the boost modulator works. Many thanks in advance
Greif - have a look at this PM. http://www.aulro.com/afvb/discovery-...modulator.html. It describes how to bypass it.
