I also saw that one on Ebay and asked my mecanic(Paul @ Rovercare) ,he said many had failed !,I would be interested to see how the Bosch ones stand up?. If the seals are viton ,which they should be for ethanol blends,then they should be ok for diesel (and bio -diesel as I use),and the slightly lower pressure is the only thing to check out.
I wonder if the FPR's in other cars are easier to get to:angel:?
Thats even more reason to try one?, the engine will run without the fuel pump (ie. no pressure at all!) if you have at least 1/4 tank, I've done it without knowing:angel: ,only stopped when I did a quick u-ey and got air into the system (thanks Kev for towing me home:D), so maybe they are worth a shot?. What are they worth, and if only it was possible to change one without removing the block ffrom the engine:(

I had a few FPR in mine and I put this is more than 3 months ago and still ok I brought 2 of them so have a spare one ready to go in.

They do not look like the one in the picture but works great. he had a adjustable one up to 5 bar might have been fun to try it,........little bit of extra kick..........
