    Replacement seats for D2

If you had a choice, what aftermarket seats would you buy for your D2, and why. Reason being, I have to make the choice of new seat bottoms , or replacement seats, in the not too distant future, Cheers, Bob
I’m pretty sure the dinosaurs died out when they stopped gathering food and started having meetings to discuss gathering food

A bookshop is one of the only pieces of evidence we have that people are still thinking

does replacing cloth trim with a set of freshly clad leather electric seats as it allows Mrs Jedi to adjust the seat for her stuffed spine count?

    Recaro, only answer IMO

But the Disco seats are the most comfortable i have ever sat in for stock seats, so i'd be replacing them, they are already bucket seats

    Hi Ports.

D2. electric. love the lumber support I got Dudded when I bought mine. it was advertised as a 7 seat but only ended up with 6 missing one of the 3rd row seats. I am still working out if I should try and find a 7th in the beige leather or get mine retrimed.

I have had recaro before and just as good is a Citroen Xsara VTS seat, they were so good but no idea how to fit them to a D2.

    cheers

    Matt

    Thanks Matt

I will start looking for a set of front leather D2 seats for mine. I just whipped off old cloth seats, removed the wire which was trying to go places it shouldn't . and stuck the old covers with the sides fixed back on. Just not the same as my old 95HSE RR. I was hoping you'd say the RR would fit.

Leather is so much better, as far as I am concerned.

I disagrre on the leather front, but each to their own

And depends on what your definition of 'fit' is haha

I prefer Disco seats to RR as you sit 'in' rather than 'on' the seat squab, like a Recaro (funny we had Recaros in all the Rangies, but the Discos have factory seats...)

    Cheers
