    Buying a D2 from interstate

Hey guys and girls. I have been searching for a good D2 for quite a while now. I have found what seems to be a nice one. The problem lies in the fact that I am in NQ and the car is in Ringwood Vic. The question is do any of you Ladies or Gents know of someone around that area that you can trust that knows their way around Landie that can do an inspection/test drive to see if the car isok and with out fault. Its an 03 D2 HSE. With a low 115ks and it's the V8 and all the usual features that that appointment level would have. Just don't want to either pay for the car and get it shipped up and it's a dud or fly down and it's a waste of time.

    Thanks in advance

If you want someone to at least have a look at it before you pay for an official inspection, I might be able to. I live in Ringwood. I have owned 2 TD5 Disco's, both got a lot of work done to them over the years

    cheers

Yes it is. Do you know the car or the dealer?

It may be worth looking at the HSE in your home town (assuming your info is correct Townsville) Been on carsales for a long time that may give you some clues as to what to look at

Is that the silver one for 24888. I have looked at it and feel its very over priced. Probably by about 7k actually. It has a few problems that I spoted with out even taking it for a drive. It looks good on the outside and interior is starting to show signs of aging. Now I know the car is 9 years old but for that sort of money they are asking it would want to be in mint condition. I am sure you agree.
