Thread: Optima Yellow top D75/25 in ARB tray

G'day all ,
With less than a week to go before I head off, I finally got the Optima into the battery tray There are 3 models that will fit in without too much drama, my mate (Randlover) put the 55a/hr D34 in his tray,but needed to reverse the clamp etc, the D35 ,48a/hr is shorter but a tad too thick for my liking as it pushes up against the brake lines, the other option is the 48 a/hr D75/25 which is 4mm thinner and clears the brake lines. I had to take the lip off the inside of the heat shieldand trim it so the pos' terminal post cleared it, also I changed the heatshield bolts to Allen key heads to gain more adjustment ,and make a clamp to hold it in place.
I now have to make two new leads to the isolator and earth.
