Nanocom ... Hills or Parramatta area? (SYD)

    Hi Guys

I'm contemplating buying a TRS chipped ECU and am wondering if there's anyone in the Hills area or Parramatta area that has a Nanocom who can help me code it to my car.
There's a case of beer or bottle of bourbon or something in it for you

    Thanks

    Craig

It's just a matter of getting the injector codes into the new ECU, you also need the throttle setting from your old ECU so you can set it on the new ECU, but the important things are your security codes, you need to tell the nanocom to learn your vehicles security codes, to do all this you'll need a laptop as well as the nanocom.

On the Nanocom website is a step by instruction on how to do it, or I think there is on here somewhere as well.

    Baz.
    Cheers Baz.

    Need a laptop? What for???

It can be done with either a One or an Evo standalone.

    1) Save the injector codes and throttle settings from existing ECU before removing.

This will give you a .CSV file containing the ECU settings.
This is the contents for my ECU:
    NANOCOM - TD5ENG.APP - TD5 ENGINE settings file

    param;value
    Injector 1;NDGFE
    Injector 2;LCGBE
    Injector 3;NCLEE
    Injector 4;LFGFE
    Injector 5;NELEE
    Accelerator;2 WAY
    2) Install new ECU
    3) Load old settings from file
    4) Write settings
    5) Go to Td5 Engine > Utilities > Learn Security Code
    6) Go for a drive and marvel at the improved performance.

As cosmic tourist says, it's easier than pie. In fact typing the instructions is more time consuming than doing it.

    cheers
    Paul
