My Td5 D2a is comfy at 140 but has sat on 160 for an extended run, it won't to an ounce more though. Years of driving as such, it's one of the more capable bush tourers to eat the miles.
The new 3.0 D4 is super fast, not game though to crank it up on the dirt with the std tyres.

Drove from British Offroad to Inskip at 140km/hr the entire way with a camper trailer... broke down earlier that day (classic move from the disco) and had to make up for lost time to get the 5pm barge!
