    Will D1 suspension fit D2? (F&R Springs/shocks)

Sorry if been done as I can never get search to work for me. As the title says do D1 front and rear springs and shockers fit a D2 or is any of it transferable. I think the D1 is a late 90's one. If this thread has been done could you please post the link to it.
Basically it has a lift kit in it with polyair airbags that I'm very keen on. If suspension does'nt fit would the polyair airbags fit a D2? they would be the same would'nt they?

On a side note this D1 I'm talking about has a what looked like a pretty good TJM winch bar on it, if anyone's interested I can ask how much they want for it. Let me know.

    Thanks Steve

There is very little difference in length between standard shockers and the ones I had for a 2" lift. I have also seen people using standard shocker with a lift and had no problems.
    Cheers, David.

What Dave said. I have D1 +2" springs in the back of my D2 with Suspension Stuff shockies which are the same length as the original shockies.
I also have D1 polyairs with hardwood blocks to space them out to fit the longer sprngs

I've take the standard front springs off the D2 wreck so will put them next to the standard D1 ones tomorrow and see how they compare. They are the same diameter as the coil spares I had on the D1 fit.
    Cheers, David.

Steve, I have compared the D1 and D2 standard springs. The wire looks the same size and same amount of coils but the D1 coils are stretched out more make there free length longer. The D1 coils have a blue paint mark where the D2 springs have a purple and orange mark. The diameter is the same so they will fit. I don't know how the load and rates compare though.
