    i followed the td5alive instructions on the weekend disconecting the black and green plugs from the servo's and fitting scews into the vacume hoses , 4mm cap is for the T piece , those instructions mention posability of brake problems if everything is not disconnected / connected properly if i can remove the lot i will though . [the 2 servo's ? is what im talking about]

    It what's called arse covering. If you just rip out all the bits without capping the t-junction you'll loose brake boost, but I reckon most AULROians (the ones that participate in the D2 forum at least) are smart enough not to do that!

    If you remove the EGR valve and cap the t-piece then the modulator and filter are doing nothing. The EU3 EGR is a bit different and you need a couple of extra steps. There is a vent into the air filter box that needs to be plugged as well for example, but as an EU2 owner I can't speak with any great authority on any other steps necessary :;

    cheers

    there are several sets of destructions and i have read them all as well as everything else i could find so i wasnt 100 % sure when there seems to be differences i play it safe till i can find out otherwise it looks pretty easy to remove the rest and my brakes actually feel alot better since plugging the t piece up

    Hi Guys,

    I am doing mine this weekend can somebody tell me the length of the bolts in the manifold which people are finding difficult. I want to replace with stainess units

    At the moment I am soaking tonight, tommorow morning, tommorrow night and saturday morning in WD 40. Plan on doing Sunday arvo

    I bought this kit and want to do hoses also any good

    HTML Code:
    http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/LAND-ROVER-DISCOVERY-TD5-EGR-Blanking-Kit-and-Silicone-Hose-Set-DA1109DIS-/280882012663?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item4165df61f7

    Further the 4 hoses

    1. air out from intercooler to EGR valve (large s shaped pipe)
    2. motor to intercooler (elbow and 1 of smaller s shaped pipes)

    where is other doing this from memory and cant recall wher 4th pipe would go.

    Don't expect stainless to not suffer the same fate!

    Dissimilar metals will still react!
