    Which model 2003 D2?

    I don't know if your model has the square headlights or projector (like D3s etc) , as it's a 2003. (This was the changeover year, wasn't it, from D2 to D2a? ).

    Square headlights (D2) = H4 bulb. Pocketed (D2a) = H7. Get at least a +50% from Repco, Autobarn etc, but a brand name, such as Narva, Phillips.

    Lots of discussions on this forum about advantages of +50% to +120% bulbs. No more current draw than standard, may have a shorter life, but lots more light.

    H4 or H7? Going from memory only(which could be faulty) I think my D2a takes H7 for the updated lights

    H7 for D2a; H4 for D2

    They are std parts; not specific to LR.

    I have a mixed bag in mine, Narva blue power in main beam, Phillips in the high beam. Blue LED in parkers, standard indicators standard bumper lights and el chepo Narva driving lights.

    Ps: my Disco being a D2a, uses H7 in main beam and high beam lights

    EDIT bsperka beat me to it, didn't read his post properly. Sorry mate

    D2a = H7
    D2 = H4
    Just put H4s in mine today, checked the book at auto one and D2 is listed as H4, with D2a as H7.
    Just to cut to the point
    Cheers
