New M+S fault as well
Hi all didn't want to hijack Toppa thread so started a new one I just finished fitting a new d/s/f door actuator and when I started it up to move it I have the M+S lights flashing never had them before stuck the Nanocom on and it gives the fault as.
(23,4) UNABLE TO DETECT REMOTE CAN NODE, (CURRENT).
Anyone know what that means surly working on the door didn't do it did it!

Most probably Low battery voltages, try running the engine for 10 minutes or so, then clear the code. Should be fine UNLESS your battery is actually dead/ dying/.

Battery only new voltage good but what I remember I had the shifter in reverse when I went to start turned the key nothing WTF I thought and looked around seen it was in reverse stuck it in park and away it went so maybe that's what gave the code I will go out and try it and see if it causes a fault code its good to know.

Changing from R to P is the cause
Ecu couldn't figure out signal, so went to limp home mode(m&s).

The auto and engine ecus communicate via can bus, so the error points to a ccommications failure with the engine ecu.
