    How much to fix these?

The old man got his D2 auto box replaced with a reco box recently. Happy with the job.

The mechanics report also shows the following:
    • R/H rear hub seal leak
    • Engine mounts sagged
    • P/Steer pump leak
    • Water pump showing signs of leak
    • Tapet cover leak
    • Front pinion seal leak
    • slight cracks in driveshaft coupling

Advice on cost/difficulty would be appreciated.

If I were you I'd be getting on top of the drive shaft coupling cracks first, before that lets go and becomes a nasty repair bill, or even worse, an accident.

All of these things can be done at home easily, depending on your mechanical confidence.

I have put some stop leak power steer fluid in my D2, worked a treat and is a cheaper option until you get some coin together.

Between this website, google and RAVE you should be able to find all the info you need.

Get a mechanic to price it up, then price the parts up through Rovacraft or some one similar and compare prices.

I assume by drive shaft coupling they are talking about the rubber donut.
I've had one fail so badly the diff end bolts rubbed on the shaft end bolts. The driveline vibrations were shocking but it never let go.

You can remove and inspect it easily but I wouldn't be too worried about it.

V8 rocker cover gaskets (all parts including degreaser) for <$100 easy. There is also a very good tutorial for this job on the site under Technical. Allow 8 hours work. Assume less for a TD5

Front prop shaft by others for a ~$350. Haven't done the rear but would assume around the same.

If just the rotoflex, I think they are ~$20 (not sure on the price really). Dead easy job. Allow 30 mins.

    Regards

I'm sure there are some nut bars on here that could complete it in 5.5 hours if they pushed themselves. If you have never done one before and just want to take your time I would allow 12 - 14 hours. Easy job though. Also very satisfying.

do you mean head gaskets maybe? because the rocker covers are 4 cap head screws each and a rubber gasket to swap
