Decided to fit the rear coil spring isolator that the previous owners’ mechanic failed to fit when converting to coil from sls. While I was at it I thought I would fit the RRC coil mounts (NRC9700) to give me the 20mm lift I was looking for. I found the A-hole mechanic had drilled out the mount hole to over 12mm rather than tap the hole with a M10 tap and fit bolts. They ended just fitting the mounts with 3/8unc bolts and nuts no washer, spring washers, thread lock or nylocks!!!
What to do the 12mm hole even on an angle as their drill was to long to drill it square. Doesn’t look like there’s enough material to tap a 1/2inch or M12 thread. Thinking just bolt and nut again with nylocks etc.?
Cheers
