Thread: A little different???? Locking

Ok, here's the scenario...
Push the button on the key to unlock, once,...driver's door unlocks = normal.
Push a second time, all except the front passenger door unlocks
Push the lock button on the dash...solenoids clunk (as they should) but the passenger door remains locked.
Pull the inside handle, and the lock lifts, and the door is useable...no big issue.
All doors unlocked and closed...push the lock button on the dash, and all but the front passenger door lock.
Push the lock button on the remote, and there she goes...all doors lock.
I have ordered a new lock / catch to replace the current one based on a failed solenoid in the lock mechanism.
Anyone had a similar issue?

looking through ther link, and your own feedback, there is a level of verification form my diagnosis.
Let you know how we get on when the parts arrive AND I get time to play.
