I'm about to head into OL/TJM in Orange, I'll see if they can give me a copy to pass on
They owe me a favour or two

Thanks. I've got the bar, such as it is, attached but it was done in a bit of a hurry and is looking slightly lop-sided so wouldn't mind checking out what I've stuffed up. I still need to fit the wiring for the indicators and the hoses for the headlight washers.

This is a pic of the bar mounted to the donor vehicle, as posted to AULRO by the PO

The hoops have been surgical removed for a more stock look, which suits me fine.

My ARB bar is sliiiightly lopsided after trying to reverse out of a track, the lower edge decided it wanted to play "drag the tree"
A quick jump on one side quickly sorted it

Me too, except I was kind of hoping to replace the ARB indicators with the split indicator/parking type ones the TJM ones have.
And I need to work out how to undo the clips on headlight washer hoses

The hose clips are "clic-r" type. Same sort as used on the fuel cooler housing, and they turn up in other spots on the D2 too (ACE/PAS reservoir from memory).

HOSE CLIP / CLAMP PLIERS for CLIC and Clic-R type - TYPES

The finish is a bit wonky on these - the pair I got has one jaw ground at a bit of an angle, but is still functional. Teng tools do pliers for around $45 which you'd hope were a bit better quality.

It depends on how high your tolerance for stuffing around is - these make removing/replacing the clips quick and easy. I had no luck replacing the clips on the fuel cooler when I changed the o-rings despite spending an hour trying and had to resort to worm drive hose clips. With the pliers, it took a couple of minutes to do both.

Yeah, It's one of those jobs where you earn the bloody knuckles pub sticker
(don't tell the series owners I said that)
    Just got back from OL/TJM.
Due to legal issues, TJM and other people like Hayman Reece refuse to issue fitting instructions, as people had been putting things like HiLux bars on suzuki seirras and taking legal action when they go end over end and kill someone
    But....
I called in a favour, and they're checking their archives for a copy, and if one exists they'll send it through to me.
No promises, but hopefully TJM has an archived copy
    Cheers

    Thanks for that.

It's bizarre that ARB and Ironman 4x4 do full colour step by step instructions which you can d/l but TJM won't. Generating fitting jobs for the dealer network is a more likely reason.

    No dramas, glad to help.
it could also be ARB really doesn't give a **** about their customers, maybe Ironman doesn't either
I found it odd too, as I'd been emailed the fitting instructions for mine without any hassles

You'd have to think clear and detailed instructions which allow correct fitting by end users would reduce the chance of claims. Who knows.

    True.
And you'd think that as part of the purchase agreement you're unable to take legal action against TJM if you fit it to a vehicle not designed for it. He did say it was mainly to deal with second hand purchases off ebay, etc.
    Still.
