Thread: Air Filtration Restriction Limit for Td5

I read the air filter test recently and would like to fit a restriction indicator to my intake system - my truck gets used in very dusty conditions from time to time and I don't think the 60k km servicing interval is going to be correct; I tended to replace every 10k km but the test shows that this is both wasting money and giving me worse filtration.

So I called Donaldson and they said they need to know what size of indicator I need before they could recommend one to buy. The info sheet they publish at http://www.donaldson.com/en/engine/s...ary/053979.pdf shows a range of "Maximum air filtration restriction limits" covered by their indicators.

Does anybody know what the max air filtration restriction limit is for the Td5?

Apologies if this is covered in another thread but I've not been able to find it.

I doubt Landrover would publish a spec. The same as the isuzu landies run would be my guess. I will dig out the PN.
