I'm amazed you have time to look at the road with all that gear to monitor.
My mudpod is still waiting for me to decide on a dual battery layout - and hence type of volt meter/s? I managed to fit it forward and retain the small indent shelving for sunglasses etc.
Nanocom (home made bracket from scrap aluminium) and Prodegy P3 Electric brake units are fixed to underside angled sections of the ash and coin trays - works for me. The Nanocom was originally to sit on top of the Mudpod, but was too high and too exposed to sunlight. The bracket now boasts a compass - to fill in the blank base.
TomTom has a made up bracket drilled into the fascia- will upgrade gps one day!!
The angled bracket at the bottom left is for my clam phone - yes I'm still a troglodyte/luddite.
Media is a Pioneer flip top screen unit (DVD, bluetooth etc but no gps) which when opened just clears all gauges etc from the drivers lin of sight position.
The Icom ic-41s handheld charging base is fixed to the original add on D2 LR GPS (useless system) bracket, with a screw in connection to the exterior CB aerial (despite don't do it advice from WAC- for better listening rather than any intent to transmit. Without the exterior connection, it works fine on road for impending wide load warnings etc. Will test it out in the bush at Moore River next weekend.

I knew it! You have a hankering for a light aircraft not a 4x4.
Jokes aside it is a pretty neat setup you've put together especially considering the number of devices you have to mount.
The Nanocom would be neater if you get a short custom cable made with RA connectors at both ends rather than routing the existing cable over the tp of the steering column. There are low profile side exit OBD2 connectors available from the States which means the cable would exit towards the centre tunnel rather than straight into the footwell.

Funny you should say that about cables. I have been meaning to email Colin to see if they think there is a market for variations on the standard cables. I should have known you would be ahead of the ball game.
Some months ago there was a post here on right angled connectors and I bought 3 ex USA intending to pursue a modified cable, but they ended up being the wrong type.
I have pushed back the OBD2 connector coming out of the drop down panel, connected up the evo cable, then wound my cable around in the void under the steering wheel and exiting the labrynth on the left side of the steering column and into the Nanocom,
BUT, if anyone can make up/supply a really short cable with a right angled OBD2 connector, I'm very interested.
With my Evo location, I dont need a DB15 backshell.

If it was the connector linked in the post it should have been right - it would have been a bare shell OBD2 with no attached cable.
The information was put out there for those who have the wherewithal to solder a couple of connectors on a bit of cable. It's not especially difficult to do, but you'd have to check how the existing cable is wired up.
You've obviously worked hard on that, so good job. Was the mudpod a D2 item or modified from another model? I like the idea of a engine saver...ish item, but mounting it was always my roadblock, so a pod unit that fitted in would be convenient.
Re the nanocom, again, I have one and like the idea of having its info available, but running out of room...

The cupholders caught MY eyes. I don't have those. Were they an extra factory accessory?
Trippy, they are NAS cup holders. Very easy to fit and a worthwhile upgrade. I bought mine from Expedition Exchange in the US. You can get them on eBay AU sometimes or order from the UK. Urban Panzer has a write up on them on his web site.
