    Talking DISCO TD5 RADIATOR

Probably a common drama but my top small hose plastic spout broke off the radiator. I tried repairs but ended up buying a new radiator...and was pleasantly surprised as british offroad at forest glen qld. sold me one for $298 trade price. a new job for me , removal of grille and taking out the horns to access the mount bolts behind the foam rubber inserts.new hose clamps and now done except for a minor error...I placed those plastic fan surround clips facing the wrong way and the rubber flap at the engine side...I may lift the radiator and change it when time permits. be careful with the plastic plugs at the base of the grille as they break off easy and then have to be pop riveted on. also shorten the screws on the top cover to avoid puncture leaks. If its a first time remember to push on the oil cooler clamps and remove the hoses..they are quick release. all good no leaks and my old radiator was original from new 13yrs old. stay kool people.

    Job well done

Check the length of the 2 screws holding the fan shroud on too.
Sometimes they botom out and go into the radiator side tanks
I had to put washers under mine.
    Cheers, Kyle
