    Fan noises

When everything is switched off and I turn the starter key to position two it sounds like a fan is operating under the dash near the RH A pillar, near the rear of speedo.

There is also a fan noise in the LH rear behind the occasional seat. I do have rear air conditioning, but it is switched off.

    Any thoughts please?
    Dave.

I was asked " Is it ignorance or apathy?" I replied "I don't know and I don't care."

Yes there is a fan on the drivers side, above the fuse compartment lid on the black panel with the slits in it. It has a fan for checking the air for climate control, they get dirty and can be heard, there is a thread somewhere on how to remove it and give it a clean or compressed air is gently forced on it to blow dust away

It is not very noisy, I was just wondering what it was. What about the rear fan, do you know what it is?

Even if the a/c is off the rear fan is
Independently controlled from the overhead switch above the second row middle seat.

I did find out what the rear fan noise was. I had the rear fan speed switch set to what I thought was the off position but had not noticed that there was also an on off switch. What I thought was off was actually fan speed one.

This is what happens when I tried to do it from the drivers seat, hey, I never sit in the back.
