Thread: Converting Airbags to Coils and adding 2 inch lift

Hello Everyone,

Long time lurking on the forums, this is my first post.

My 99 Disco 2 TD5 sits down on the right hand side rear axle every now and then. The Airbag seems to have a leak as I can hear it happen when I get out of the car and if its not parked on level ground.

Instead of replacing with a new airbag, I am replacing it with Ironman Coils and Ironman Foam Cell Shocks this weekend. I have been reading up on the how-to's for this job for about two weeks now and decided to take the front driver side wheel off yesterday just to make sure I have everything I need.

That's when I noticed a "anomaly" and hence the call for help here. The passenger side wheel seems to be connected with two tie rods whereas the driver side wheel is only connected to one.

Is this normal ? I have attached photos I took yesterday to this post.

Other than the new coils and shocks that I am about to put in, everything else is stock standard.
