    valvoline maxlife ATF

    Hi All

Anyone had experience with this fluid?

I have been using nulon fluid but the tranny specialist used Valvoline Synthetic fluid last time and after 15,000 I am going to do the change myself this time.

I was think about using this stuff. http://www.valvoline.com/pdf/maxlife_atf.pdf

It says it is Dex II and Dex III suitable.

It is also on special at supercheap at the moment.

    Cheers

    Matt

Have been using it in my brothers TD4 Freelander for 110000km, changing it every 20000km. no leaks and changes smooth. cant fault it.

Purchased 10 litres recently as it met the specification, also liked the idea of having the ability to seal small leaks.
    I will most probably add CEM Anti-wear @ 1%

Its a great oil and uses zinc which helps clutch plates bite better, similar to shudder fix etc.

It also meets Dex 6 requirements so can be used in late model transmissions.
