When I replaced my 10yr old OEM bags, did some research and found Arnotts in the USA, long standing company making air bags for every type of vehicle, looked ok, incredibly cheap and lifetime warranty. Why not. They arrived quickly, and I put them on myself. Fast forward about 10 months and noticed the back end dropping overnight (was camping at the time). Next weekend went for a day drive and compressor went into "duty cycle exceeded" and shut down so drove 95k home on the bump stops (previous photo).
Rang Arnott, sent photos showing leaks (previous photos) and very quickly they sent a new pair. Fitted them, 45 mins. 1 Hr later 'BANG', the top band had burst off and car back firmly on bump stops. To get me around for a couple of weeks I re-fitted the old OEM ones that didnt actually leek. Was getting quite quick at this by then.

Rang Arnott, they sent new pair, this time with a design mod that included additional crimping on top ring. (just see this in photo below)

So maybe these are better now, I never found out as I swapped to coils and sold them at a discount still in the box. I'm simonl8353 and thats my story

Since I got the Arnott's bags I have heard a lot of stories about poor performance. Mine are still going after a couple of years so I either got lucky or they fixed what ever problems people have experienced.

rear air suspension trouble on 2003 disco 2

I fitted 2" longer shocks as well as 40mm air spring spacer and readjusted all the heights with nanocom. I have done some tests at full compression and extension and there is no stress on the air springs, so at this lift a longer bag is not required. Only thing needed are extended brake lines.

Apologies if I'm hijacking Rover mick's initial thread about what causing the sagging, but I think that question has been answered by now. So, to add some additional info about the subsequent queries, for a 40mm airbag lift, you can use std length airbags and you'll need a set of spacers on the rear, brake line link extenders, sls sensor extenders (or re-set with nanocom) and a 12mm-ish spacer between the cross-member and chassis.
    see this lot here:

Had 2 pairs of Arnotts bags - never again either.
Had issues with the fittings on top of the bag & one actually perished through the body of the bag, after only a couple of months.

    Airbag man for me now.
