Have you checked the rocker cover gasket. I had oil leaking at the rear of the motor and running down underneath and that's what it was. Just a thought.
Hi ED, I have car ramps at Crafers, you can use them here and I can have a look too if you like. I'm not particularly interested in fixing oil leaks though! I can get some parts sent here if you need, I have a few trade accounts. PM me if you want to come this way.

thanks beeutey, might take you up on that. just a point in the right direction is good.
i thought rocker cover gasket too but doesnt seem to have any leaks from there, its lower. right in line with the oil filter lol. but not the oil filter.
Most like gasket behind the oil filter.
hehe there is a lot of heart in these carsim yet to find a landy driver who hasnt got some sort of cheesy grin on their face when behind the wheel haha! othe than the really rich ones who have the fancy range rovers that arnt actual landrover lovers but its a status symbol haha i dont think they know how to crack a grin

i plan to do it all at once i think. i will do the camshaft one through the week, then put my engine cover back on. and keep eye on oil levels for a few weeks. might have a transfer box already i can just put a service kit thing through and bolt back in. if not ill jsut get that out when its off road to get the other bits done. i need it to move my yearling horse back home. then will fix the leaks haha. well i use the term fix loosely![]()
