    reversing camera instal.

    Hi,
    I just updated the radio in the disco . It came with a reversing camera which needs to be wired up to the reversing switch to activate the camera when you put it in reverse. Does anyone know where i can wire into this from inside the cabin?

    Simple answer is DON'T. Find an independent supply and wire it up to a small switch.
    If, when you are reversing, you need to run forward to have another shot at a trailer hookup (for example), you lose the camera as soon as it is out of reverse. Mine is aimed at the towball (generally) and can be used to check trailer connections and the rear of the car even when traveling.

    Or have both, with a diode to stop the powering up of reversing lights. I got a power feedfor the reverse camera from near the slabs (?) ecu on the passenger side. Sorry, can't remember exactly which wire/ connector.
