I sure hope so, Toyota Echos are a horrible car to drive
I've already got a list of other things to fix when I get him back

The muppet and his disco reunited

    He's back!
Total cost came to $655 all things included.
Picked him up and I'm now putting all my stuff back on it
Quite shocked at the difference on shut off, no squeaks, no rattles, no shuddering, just nice and smooth.

    Just an update on this.
Still rattles like a Td5 should (collapsed engine mounts )
Still no squeaks, no coolant loss at all so the radiators okay.
It's running slightly better than before, but in odd ways.
I no longer need kick-down to overtake people on hills, it holds the revs in 4th fine?
Perhaps having the correct size belt on has something to do with it.
Thumbs up for John Cane Dyno Tune, apparently he does all the RFS vehicles.
    Cheers

Glad you were able to get it all sorted and are happy with the result, including the service and price.
We'll have to add John Cane Dyno Tune to the national list of Landy recommended service centres/repairers.
