Hi all
After suffering with diminishing 'get up and go' for the last four to six weeks and now having a 1999 TD5 that is only just driveable on the flat and pretty horrible on hills, I've finally put the time in and (thanks to AULRO and other forums) traced the problem back to a faulty fuel pump.
I've got a new one on the way but my query is this - as I need the vehicle daily for work and it is still just about usable (as long as I take the flattest route to where I'm going and stick to something less than 80kph) am I doing any damage to other components by continuing to drive like this?
Any thought would be much appreciated.
Cheers - David
I think you will be fine - have a read of my earlier post re D2 fuel pump.
