    Buying airbags

Does anyone have any recommendations for the cheapest place in Australia to get D2 air springs? They don't have to be Landrover brand, the Dunlops are better I think anyway.

I ordered new bags from Paddocks over a week ago and despite a number of emails they still have not been sent. It a pity as they were only about $120 delivered from Paddocks but I can't wait any longer.

If Brit-Car sell them I'd recommend looking at them. I have purchased a lot from them in the last few months and the postage has been very reasonable and very quick from the UK (within a week or two to arrive).

I looked at Brit-Car. They always seem to be a fair bit more expensive than the other major suppliers. But I need to get the bags within the next wee, which is why I have to get them from Australia.

Thanks for that, that is a nice site with good prices and I will keep them in mind for the future.

Unfortunately I cant take the chance of buying from overseas when I need them this week.

I might try a couple of places tomorrow and see if anyone has some 2nd hand ones at a cheap enough price. I can then order 2 new one from the UK and keep the old ones as spares.
That will get me going for Anzac day trip.

Fair enough. I ordered complete new front door window mechanisms (the railings) and new swaybar link pins from Brit-Car on 10 April. They sent them via DHL (a more expensive service as I wanted them quick) on 11 April and as of yesterday they are in Victoria. I expect I will have them today or tomorrow. It's not quick enough for your time frame, but worth keeping in mind for the future.

Maybe try a wrecker like TRS and get a cheap second hand set for the intrim and order a new set from the US or UK were they are cheap new?
