You should buy what suits your budget and your sense of aesthetics.
Any of the adapters will do the same basic job. If you want to spend the least amount of money the mild steel will be hard to go past.
The machined and welded aluminium adapters tend to be sold via tuning firms and are very well made bits of kit. I don't think there is much to choose between them. I ended up going for the Allard kit simply because it has a spigot for a boost gauge and I like the historic associations of the brand. It also looks pretty damn good bolted up to the intake manifold
