Have a look at general grabber ats.255/55/r18 is what I have and seem to be doing the job. Only 1200 km in so hopefully 50000 to go!
Earlier this year the D2 got an OME 40mm lift, damper and shock upgrade and it getting a new rear bar shortly. Next on the list is a set of decent At's, I like the design/reviews on Coopers STMaxx's, GY Duratrac and DC FC-II's however they're all ~32's. Its my understanding that the maximum you can increase your tyre size by is 2 inches in NSW. Does anyone know of a way too, or better yet LEGALY runs 32's on a Disco2, or do I have to stick with much milder HT's.
PS, Yes i know this is another 'tyres' thread but I've been searching for different makes/sizes of tyres, and trying to read the ADR's vs NSW regs is giving me a headache.

The at2 are great tyres. The look the business too.
Cheers
How well do the AT2's take nicks etc they're not LT tyres, but they're XL load rated?

I just bought Bridgestone Dueler AT 696's from tirerack cheaper than any other 255/55 R18 available in Perth. Currently in Coral Bay and the tyres are a dream. Nice and aggressive and even held up to mud okay.
Tirerack.com. Came from USA.
$1400 for a set of 5 inc. 3-5 delivery from USA via FedEx. $280ea. Then paid $20 to have them fitted and balanced.
I did the same , got bridgestone dualer 696 255/70/18 from tirerack.com and they have been great . Did a trip from perth to darwin , right through Arnhemland and back last year . Rough as guts roads when there were any out in Arnhemland and didn't have ant tyre issues. I took 3 spares just incase because of the odd size and still have 3 brand new here in the shed .
