I've been looking at a set of wheel arch flares via the UK. And this is a prime example of the "Item value = approx freight price" rule of thumb. Approx GBP99 and freight estimates between GBP90-120.

But even at GBP200 this is a saving of around A$300.

And the plane was already flying to Australia anyway, right? So the 'air miles guilt' is 100% non-existent for me.

Plus I should've given the bloke on ebay the $150 he wanted for the better-than-half-decent set that he had on the D2 he was wrecking...but waited too long. Grrrrr.

I've used duckworths for an order of about 8 items and very happy with service and original parts delivered.

Had good success with these guys. They also have some of the more hard to find accessories a well, and very cheap. Like the D2 alternate cup holders shipped for $30- as opposed to over $100- here.
If they had black. I would be happy. As the in dash seriously where not designed to hold anything.
And I cant find black anywhere for decent money. Oh and there currently $71.66 for beige plus postage. So about $100.

I have given up. I am thinking of making a flat work area around the auto shifter and mounting to waeco (or similar) 12v drink coolers.

    Sorrys for the hijack Adam.

I got mine from Rimmer Bros. black ones, they still have them and as you say very good for holding all sorts of odds and sods.

I remember why I'd gone off Rimmers. Order placed Sunday Melbourne time, all items shown in stock. Three UK working days later the order status is "order submitted to website". So much for shipping in 48hrs.
