    Exclamation Rolled D2 while towing ( not me!! )

    G'day all
    Flicking through the latest Caravan & Motorhome mag today when I came upon an article regarding packing caravans correctly. Then on page 121 to my horror is a picture of a D2 and the van it was towing on it's side! There was no information regarding the incident. Very sobering to see. I would like to find out the details of the incident. I know that this type of accident can happen to any vehicle but it's a bit too close to home. I've got around 20000 km towing under my belt now and have nothing but praise for my D2a. Stay safe everyone when your towing.

    If you could supply some details of the Disco & Van in the article you refer to then someone may know about the cause/s of the particular unfortunate incident.
    I know of one that occurred about 18 months ago plus a few other similar near disasters.

    Detail is minimal. Number plates blurred out, but it is a 99-01 D2 in metallic "burnt orange" colour. No bulbar, no driving lights. Large dual axle van and it appears to be in a semi-arid area. Disco lying on passenger side. C&M issue no 190.
