It's under the steering wheel drivers side.
Hi all,
I am looking for the OBD2 plug on my 03 D2. I understood that almost all vehicles after about 2000 had an OBD connector.
Could someone help me with it's location.
Cheers, Rick.
It's under the steering wheel drivers side.
On a 2000 V8 it's on the LH side of the steering column, still on the drivers side of the tunnel, below the bottom lip of the cover panel. No need to open anything.
Thanks twr7cx,
thats where I was going wrong. I was looking behind the panel. It's not a small connector so I thought it would be easy to spot. I had a look when I got your message and it was staring me in the face. lol.
Thanks again. Cheers, Rick.
That's interesting to note. I do seem to recall now that I may have disconnected mine from where it is mounted as standard so that the Nanocom plug didn't have such a kink in the cable.
IIRC mine is loose inside the void behind that panel so I must have unscrewed it. All I know is that when the Nanocom freezes I open the panel and it's there in front of me.
