    Mechanic in Brisbane

Hi Guys, can anyone recommend a good LR mechanic in Brisbane. I know most of you do your own work but who out there do you rate as competent and economical? Oh, I have a V8 D2 by the way

Second that. MR Automotive at Redcliffe are brilliant. They have done ( and "will" do most ) of the work on both my LR's, and I have zero complaints. You have to book ahead, but theres a good reason for that..

There is a place in Cleveland, but can't remember the name. Good but you pay.

I guess it's what you value service at?!

I'd actually just like to have the vehicle at a standard ( no issues) and then I can keep it there. Every time I put it in for service or to get something done, it then comes back with a new different problem to be fixed later

Thats the sort of stuff that I do as part of the work.

as I'm not an official business, I usually only take on service/repair work when the owner/operator is willing to do the basic appy/spanner handing work and has a vested interest in learning what the bits and pieces of servicing and minor repair works.

I've also been known to take on come to you call out work when people take on a project and hit a step that requires a tool or trick they dont know about and are worried about doing themselves (torquing down head bolts and brake/ wheel bearing works are probably the most common one of these)
