Personally, and if you have a de'EGR kit on order, I wouldn't bother cleaning it. To do a proper job you would have to take the unit off to get both sides of the butterfly valve. Just cleaning one side is hardly worth it and any loose crud or over spray remaining will risk ending up in the either in the inter cooler or risks being blown into the engine. If your cleaning the MAP sensor, which is worth doing as it takes about 30 seconds, use an electrical contact cleaner which will leave no residue.
