I've also been known to take on come to you call out work when people take on a project and hit a step that requires a tool or trick they dont know about and are worried about doing themselves (torquing down head bolts and brake/ wheel bearing works are probably the most common one of these)
Maybe we should catch up for a chat and you can have a look over it. Do you have a hoist/ pit?

I Redlands Greg is good but more used to working on older Rovers, although a mate of mine has his d2 v*8 serviced well there.

I have been to MR and British Offroad and Techno British and have had mates go to both. I had mates go to other LR places. I live in Brissy West not so far from Fig Tree....for my d2v8 I have for a while driven past a heap of places to British Offroad...worth the drive. Entrusted them with engine, 5 speed, and transfer case overhaul along with a new sequential lpg system. Rank them very highly. They offfer loaners but that wouldn't worry me if they didn't. Still worth the drive. Talk to shop foreman Andrew up there.

    Cheers

First of all, buy a RAVE dvd, do the basic stuff yourself, anything you are not confident with, my suggestion is M.R. Auto. or British Offroad. Just my thoughts, Bob

A bookshop is one of the only pieces of evidence we have that people are still thinking

One of the problems with MR and British off road is they are not so easy for owners who are actually in Brisbane, and who don't want to lose a day every time the car goes to the workshop (which is generally too often, and you don't know what day it might come back). So some comments on those LR experts closer to the city might help answer the question.

    SBL Automotive

I have used SBL automotive at Acacia Ridge a couple of times. Shane is a nice bloke always willing to give advice and knows his stuff too.
