    Hey Steve, how'd you go with the rack, I'm looking at purchasing a rack and came a cross the same one. I'd be interested in what you thought?

    To be honest it still in the package in my garage I didn't have a chance to install it yet

    A friend of mine bought one of these for a series 1 and it is a pretty good buy. He even got himself a ladder for the back. We went away and he spent much time walking around on the rack like some lion hunter looking for his prey! Good value I think. : )

    hello together,

    finally managed to install my roof rack, I had a go at it last week but realised the screws they included which attached the roof rack to the bars were only 15 mm and would have only used one or two of the threads and that did not appear to be very safe. I phoned them and within two days they sent me 32 x25mm bolts which do a much better job.

    It seems to be reasonably good quality but haven't really used it yet with any load on. I noticed that I had to leave some of the rubber protections for the clamps which attach to the roof rail of as otherwise the doors would not close.
