    Replacing steering knuckle ball joints

I've ordered some good quality steering knuckle ball joints to replace the current ones which do seem to be showing their age. After a lot of web searching I've heard of people hitting these things out with a hammer plus heat, while others use a C clamp type press power screw jobby. I don't want to have my front hub off and then realise I can't get the ball joints out so I'm looking at buying a C clamp press such as advertised on ebay below. Are these things up to the job?

Looks like the same tool I use, bought it to do a P38a, which in effect is exactly the same process.

Got ripped buying it here though

Paid $120 more than they are asking for Ebay one, I needed it NOW so thems the breaks I guess.

Looking at postage I'm guessing they are damn heavy. $140 seems the combined price for most of them on fleabay.
