SupporterI've ordered some good quality steering knuckle ball joints to replace the current ones which do seem to be showing their age. After a lot of web searching I've heard of people hitting these things out with a hammer plus heat, while others use a C clamp type press power screw jobby. I don't want to have my front hub off and then realise I can't get the ball joints out so I'm looking at buying a C clamp press such as advertised on ebay below. Are these things up to the job?

Yes they are heavy, I bought mine locally so still hurting....
It is a good tool though, did the job very well
