New injector harness was fitted 2 weeks ago and main engine harness checked again for any chafes etc with nothing found. Engine harness was then removed from car last week and every wire checked for resistance/continuity. Fuse box removed and checked, throttle pot and alternator also checked out ok. Rocker cover removed and timing checked over again. No fault found anywhere and when I started it yesterday about 10 am, it started missing and smoke again at approx 1000rpm as I tried to drive off. Shift back to neutral and let the engine idle and its ok. Bring the revs up again to around the 1000rpm and it will start to hunt by 100-200 revs and the smoke starts.
